Summary
The Emergency Medical Vehicle Operator (EMVO) is responsible for the safe operation of ambulances and company vehicles while assisting clinical personnel with patient movement, transportation, equipment management, and operational support functions.
The EMVO serves as an essential member of the patient care team by ensuring safe transportation, maintaining vehicle readiness, supporting patient comfort, and assisting EMTs and other clinicians throughout the transport process. The EMVO represents WV Lifeline Ambulance Services, LLC through professional interactions with patients, families, healthcare partners, and the public.
The EMVO works collaboratively with Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Communications Specialists, healthcare facilities, public safety agencies, and organizational leadership to support the mission of Mobilizing Accessibility.
