EMT-B

Job Title: EMT-B

Employment Type: FULL TIME / PART TIME / PRN

Location: Operations Base; Mount Hope, WV

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Position Summary: 

The Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B) is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and efficient pre-hospital patient care and medical transportation in accordance with the state's EMS regulations, medical protocols, and organizational policies. EMT-Bs serve as frontline responders and play a critical role in patient care, safety, and community trust.

- Ambulance Operations

- Documentation & Compliance

- Training & Professional Development

- Safety & Conduct

Qualifications: 

- Current EMT-B Certification and State Licensure in good standing. â€‹

- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record preferred. 

- All required certifications in good standing (CPR / HazMat / MCI / BLS etc)

- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and physical ability testing. 

- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.

Work Environment: 

- Field Environment onboard Licensed Ambulances.

EMVO

Job Title: EMVO

Employment Type: FULL TIME / PART TIME / PRN

Location: Operations Base; Mount Hope, WV

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

​

Position Summary: 

The Emergency Medical Vehicle Operator (EMVO) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of emergency medical vehicles while assisting EMS clinicians in patient care, lifting, moving, and operational readiness. EMVOs play a critical support role in ensuring timely response, patient safety, and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications: 

- High School Diploma or GED required. 

- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record. 

- EMVO/EVOC certification (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe)

- CPR certification (can be obtained during EMVO training)

- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and physical ability testing. 

​

Work Environment: 

- Field Environment onboard Licensed Ambulances.
