Summary
The Communications Specialist serves as the primary communications and coordination professional responsible for receiving transport requests, coordinating ambulance resources, supporting field personnel, communicating with healthcare partners, and ensuring efficient movement of patients throughout the healthcare continuum via utilization of WV Lifeline Ambulance resources.
The Communications Specialist acts as the central communication hub for WV Lifeline Ambulance Services, LLC by coordinating transport logistics, monitoring field operations, managing communication systems, and delivering exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare facilities, partner agencies, and the public.
The Communications Specialist works collaboratively with Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Emergency Medical Vehicle Operators (EMVOs), Base Leads, executive leadership, healthcare facilities, and public safety agencies to support safe, efficient, and professional ambulance operations.
