Summary
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is responsible for providing high-quality prehospital emergency medical care, non-emergency medical transportation, patient assessment, treatment, and monitoring in accordance with organizational policies, medical protocols, and applicable laws and regulations.
The EMT serves as a frontline representative of WV Lifeline Ambulance Services, LLC and is responsible for delivering compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care while ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, coworkers, and the public.
The EMT works collaboratively with fellow clinicians, Emergency Medical Vehicle Operators (EMVOs), Communications Specialists, healthcare facilities, public safety agencies, and organizational leadership to support the mission of Mobilizing Accessibility.

General EMT services onboard a Basic Life Support Ambulance. The 24 hour-unit works to provide pre-scheduled non-emergent transports as well as 911 coverage in Fayette County.
